staging ~ the chandelier

I wonder how many homes in America have one of these hanging in their dining room?

Yup, the ubiquitous builder brass chandelier. When I leased my condo 3 years ago it had a builder grade chandy ~ swagged & consequently hanging very high & not centered over my table. Certainly not something I wanted to live with ~ especially as chandeliers are so easy to switch out. I live on Lake Norman, NC & wanted the beachy feel of capiz. I found the chandy on sale at Target for $99- (it was in that season’s Global Market section & is no longer available), shopped at Lowe’s for the the chain & ceiling plate & ordered the chain sleeve from Ballards.

Chandeliers are to a room as jewelry is to an outfit. Look at the impact & drama that these chandeliers give to their rooms ~

Don’t live ~ or sell ~ with the dated blah builder fixture. Adorn your room with something special.
