details ~ just a little inspiration

I really like this room I found over on Style Files. I love the mix of styles ~ the red mid-century Eames chair, lucite coffee table & fairly strait forward white sofa with more traditional fabrics on the ottoman & pillows. In fact, the ottoman is my favorite piece ~ in this room. What makes it all work, in my opinion, are the white wood floors & white walls ~ they ground everything. I would change out the floor lamp & the painting, but hey, this is just some design inspiration I’m sharing.
