I live with vertical blinds ~ in my living room & master bedroom no less. Can you tell I am not a fan? But since I rent, I am stuck with them. They stay open pretty much 24/7 & most days I hardly notice them due to the million dollar view of Lake Norman I have from both rooms.
Although verticals are still available for purchase, they really are so last century & most designers would never suggest them. When selling your home, you want to update the outdated if at all possible.

Not much was spent replacing the verticals with blinds, but the change is extremely buyer friendly.
With so many affordable & stylish drapes & other window treatments out there ~ like those at Ikea ~ it is time to ditch the verticals.
