When asked to define my decor style, I always include the word eclectic ~ I think the most effective spaces are a rich mix of a variety of styles, colors & textures. I love the justapostion of modern with more classical pieces.

The vision for The Bella Cottage was born when its creator, Michelle, was in search of the perfect shabby chic & cottage style pieces for her first home. Not finding exactly what she was looking for, she worked with local craftsmen to create her own custom pieces. At today’s The Bella Cottage, you will find handmade custom furniture, specialty one-of-a-kind vintage items, as well as home furnishings and accents.

I think every home should have at least one statement mirror ~

I have never been a fan of matchy-matchy bedroom sets, so I would love to design a room that had this pair of fabulous nighstands in it ~

Most of their armoires have just been sold, but that is the beauty of this site ~ the one-of-a-kinds are always changing ~
