I first saw Susan Goldstick’s exquisite bejeweled knobs at the New York Gift Show about 15 years ago on a buying trip for my store &, needless to say, I flipped out. I really related to her warmth & she was just like me, starting out in a fedgling business. We share the same sensibility ~ style is in the details. It’s been my intention to research her current work & post about it, but when I got an email this morning that she was following me on Twitter, I went with the serendipity of that & pulled up her site. All I can say is WOW!!! ~ she has stayed true to style, but expanded & grown as an artist & business owner.
Susan started out in 1992 with a concept of “house jewelry” ~ a line of 10 knobs with magical names like Merlin & Aladdin ~

And, now the line includes drawer pulls ~

Decorative drapery rods & finials ~

lamps & switchplates ~

And, furniture ~

“I’m always tickled at the way people smile upon discovering our knobs for the first time. When you see our unique cabinet hardware, it’s easy to understand how the little details get big notice.” ~ Susan Goldstick
