operation nice

Before I truly get down to business & post about staging & design, there is another initiative that I just learned about today on alwaysupwards ~ Operation Nice. I love this! For the past 4 years I have traveled virtually non-stop, & trust me, traveling & its inherent madness does not always bring out the best in people! Along the way, I met some truly nice people who made my day, but some days all I seemed to encounter was a collection of just plain yucky or rude folks. Once, on a crowded Avis bus with a 10 minute ride from the airport to the remote facility, I realized I was the only person standing & then looking around the bus also realized that every single person sitting was male! There was not one chivalrous ~ or nice ~ guy to be had. Oh, & don’t get me started about the armrests on planes!

I have only spent a little time so far on this site, but I have already signed up for the daily email update, added the badge to this blog & plan on going back & reading the older posts soon. Created by Melissa Morris Ivone 11 months ago, Operation Nice is just that ~ inspiring “a little NICE”. It is about sharing, giving back to its readers & creating very tangible ways we can all be a little nicer.

Melissa has created some nifty downloads. Here is an example of one that she filled out for her Mom:

I’ve always considered myself a nice person, but it nevers hurts to have some Nice Assignments. Universal law ~ what you focus on expands!
